That’s what you’re doing.
Releasing them to an environment where you can’t monitor daily decisions while trusting that eighteen years of teaching prepared them better than you currently feel they did.
The anxiety is real.
You’re financially supporting education while watching them potentially make choices you warned them against.
That lack of control creates stress that most parents underestimate before drop-off day when the reality of separation actually hits.
Scripture consistently points to trusting God with what you can’t control. That doesn’t eliminate parental concern.
