Our Thoughts On What the Bible Says About College Students
Scripture recognizes that young adulthood is a crucial season for establishing life patterns, spiritual foundations, and character that will influence the rest of one’s life. The Bible doesn’t dismiss the challenges young people face but provides practical wisdom for navigating temptation, making wise choices, and growing in spiritual maturity during this formative time. Throughout Scripture, God consistently calls young people to live with purpose, integrity, and dedication to His truth despite the pressures they face.
What strikes me most about the biblical approach to young adults is how it balances high expectations with understanding and grace. Scripture calls college-age believers to be examples in their generation while acknowledging that they will face unique pressures and temptations. The Bible provides both the motivation for godly living and the resources necessary to maintain faith in challenging environments.
Scripture also emphasizes the importance of this season for establishing spiritual disciplines, choosing wise companions, and learning to think critically while maintaining faith.
