Our Thoughts On What the Bible Says About The Blessing Of Work
Work is inherently good because God Himself works. He didn’t create the world and then retire. Jesus said His Father is always at work, and so is He. When we work with diligence and integrity, we’re reflecting God and participating in His ongoing activity in the world. That gives even mundane work profound dignity and meaning.
Scripture makes no distinction between sacred and secular work when it comes to doing it for God’s glory. Whether you’re a pastor or a plumber, an accountant or an artist, your work matters to God when it’s done with excellence and offered to Him. The blessing of work isn’t just the paycheck. It’s the satisfaction of creating something, solving problems, serving others, and knowing your labor isn’t in vain.
God promises to establish the work of our hands when we commit it to Him. There’s a supernatural element where God blesses work done His way. Diligent hands bring wealth. Hard work brings profit. Say This Prayer
