You’ve reached the end of yourself. That place where your reserves are empty, your willpower is exhausted, and your ability to keep going has completely run out. You’ve tried harder, pushed longer, and given more than you knew you had.
And still, it wasn’t enough. The gap between what you need to do and what you’re capable of doing feels impossibly wide.

Our Thoughts On What the Bible Says About God’s Strength In You
God’s strength in you isn’t about you becoming stronger. It’s about His power working through your weakness. This is fundamentally different from self-help messages that tell you to dig deeper, try harder, and find inner reserves. Scripture says when you reach the end of yourself, God’s strength shows up.
Paul discovered this when God refused to remove his thorn in the flesh and instead said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Paul’s response? He actually started boasting about his weaknesses so Christ’s power could rest on him. He understood that his inadequacy wasn’t a barrier to God’s power. It was the prerequisite.
The promise is that God strengthens you with power through His Spirit in your inner being. This isn’t surface-level motivation. It’s divine power working at the core of who you are, enabling you to do what’s impossible in your own capacity.
You go from strength to strength, not because you’re getting stronger but because you’re learning to draw from an unlimited source. God arms you with strength. He gives power to the weak. His strength becomes yours when you stop relying on your own.
Say This Prayer
Heavenly Father, I’ve reached the end of myself, and I desperately need Your strength.
I’ve tried so hard in my own power, and it’s not enough. I’m exhausted, depleted, running on empty. I don’t have what it takes to face what’s in front of me. My strength has failed, and I need Yours.
Your Word says Your power is made perfect in weakness. That You strengthen us with power through Your Spirit. That, when we’re weak, then we’re strong because Your strength is what matters. I’m claiming those promises right now in my weakness.
Fill me with Your strength. Not a little boost to keep struggling on my own, but your actual power working through me. Let Your strength show up where mine has run out. Enable me to do what’s impossible in my capacity through Your power in me.
Help me to stop trying to be strong enough on my own and start depending entirely on Your strength. Arm me with power I don’t possess. Give me endurance I can’t manufacture. Let me go from strength to strength by learning to draw from Your unlimited supply.
