Sometimes attacks intensify around major decisions, ministry opportunities, or seasons when God is calling you to a new level of faith and obedience.
Here’s what I’ve learned through my dark seasons: spiritual attacks are real, but they’re also evidence that you matter in the kingdom. The enemy doesn’t waste ammunition on people who pose no threat. When you find yourself under intense spiritual assault, it often means you’re closer to victory than you realize.
These verses aren’t just comfort food for troubled souls. They’re weapons of warfare that carry divine authority to break through every demonic strategy aimed at your destruction.

Our Thoughts On What The Bible Says About Those Under Spiritual Attack
When I examine these verses about spiritual attack, what stands out most is how God never minimizes the reality of spiritual warfare while simultaneously assuring us of certain victory. The Bible doesn’t sugarcoat the fact that we have a real enemy who launches real attacks against God’s people. But it also makes crystal clear that our enemy is a defeated foe operating on borrowed time.
What I find fascinating is how Scripture reveals that spiritual attacks often intensify when we’re closest to breakthrough. Daniel faced his greatest spiritual opposition when he was receiving heavenly revelation. Paul’s most intense persecution came during his most fruitful ministry seasons. Jesus Himself was tempted immediately after His baptism and calling were confirmed.
The pattern suggests that spiritual attacks aren’t necessarily evidence that we’re doing something wrong. Sometimes they’re confirmation that we’re doing something right. The enemy attacks what threatens him most, and believers who are walking in their God-given authority and purpose represent his greatest threat.
These verses teach us that our response to spiritual attack should never be passive resignation or fearful retreat. Instead, we’re called to active resistance, confident warfare, and bold declaration of God’s truth over our circumstances. The weapons of our warfare have divine power, and when we wield them skillfully, every demonic strategy crumbles under the weight of God’s superior authority and unshakeable promises.

Father, I acknowledge that I am under spiritual attack, but I also declare that You are greater than any force that comes against me. By the blood of Jesus, I break every assignment of darkness over my life.
I submit myself completely to You and resist the devil, commanding him to flee. Surround me with Your angels and let Your presence be my shield. Give me wisdom to recognize the enemy’s tactics and boldness to stand firm in faith.
